Impressions from the friendly match 1. FC Köln – Hannover 96

As written in an earlier article, German Bundesliga teams are in the Algarve for their 2012 winter training camps. The team of 1. FC Köln played the friendly last Sunday the 8/1/2012 at the Hotel Le Meridien Penina Golf & Resort in Portimão against Hannover 96. The match ended up according to performance 1:1.
Köln forward Lukas Podolski is still not fit play and will likely miss the trip to Wolfsburg on January 21 as the Bundesliga picks up after the winter break. During his stay in Portugal he started some running sessions last Sunday. "It's slowly getting better, but I still have mild pain. Schalke is my goal," Podolski told Bild.
