A FREE WEEKEND OF FUN WITH afpop
On Saturday 14 May at Essential Spa in the Boavista Golf and Spa Resort, Lagos, there is free Open day with a full programme of Aqua Aerobics, introductory Yoga and Pilates sessions for all and swimming lessons for kids between 10am and 2pm. You can get free advice from beauty therapists, personal trainers, a dietitian and a physiotherapist and the swimming pool will be open all day for all to use. Take part in lots of challenges and chances to win great prizes including a putting competition. Come along and meet the team from afpop who will be there to make sure that members and non-members have a great day out, and the sponsors GMT 24:7, Imperius Asset Management, Mestre Raposa, The Resident Group and Sulcare will be joining in the fun.
On Sunday 15 May the fun continues at Carvoeiro Tennis Club. From 10am until 4pm you can take part or just watch as activities for all ages fill another day. There will be tennis demonstrations and participation plus a pro-am of semi-professional players from 10.30 – 12.00 and again at 2.00 – 3.30. Dance, Pilates, Aerobics and Yoga demonstrations and try-outs, including dancersize, zumba, jazz, ballet, street dance, and salsa from 10.30 right through the day. The gym facilities will be available to all and a Fitness Instructor will give advice until 2.00. All day there will be trampoline jumping, a car boot sale, donkey rides, and a cake buffet. Change your appearance with face painting in the afternoon. A BBQ will run from 12.30 – 4.00 with wine tasting from Quinta dos Vales between 1.00 – 3.00. Again there will be chances to win great prizes and the team from afpop will be available to welcome members and provide information and advice to all. The Resident Group will also be attending and supporting the Open Day.
