A fast boat used to transport drugs was seized last Monday by the Marine Police at Ria Formosa Faro opposite the Praia da Barrinha beach, after being found stranded off the bar Faro.
The local authorities suspect that the vessel has been used in discharge of the drug in the Ria Formosa.
The fast boat from 12 meters is equipped with three powerful engines each around 250 horse power and valued at around 250,000 euros.
